Debate Like A Champ! Government #2: Children have a right to their future
Part 3 of the Debate Like a Champ! series Go to Part 1
Debate Like a Champ is a youth-led debating workshop developed to help young people hone their communication skills while exploring topics in children’s rights to a safe and clean environment. The KitaConnect Champions have showcased their debating skills on the motion, “This house would encourage school children to strike for climate change.”
Adam, 17, believes children rightly have a sense of urgency and should have a voice on issues such as climate change that matter to their generation. In this process, they need intergenerational dynamics and adult solidarity to push such a movement forward.
